About the Caring for People with Learning Disabilities Certificate

Learning difficulties come in many forms. Some people who are affected by learning difficulties only experience mild impairments, whereas others require constant support. This home learning course aims to educate individuals about the best ways to help and understand people with a range of different learning difficulties.

The online course begins by introducing the common causes behind learning impairments and analysing the social impact of these difficulties. The home learning course also delves into the history of care and explains the current structure of car provision in the UK. Altogether there are six engaging modules for participants to complete.

Entry Requirements

There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds.

All course fees, inclusive of all payment plans including our Premium Credit Limited option, must be settled before certification can be ordered.

*You will have access to the course for 24 months.

On successful completion of your course you will receive the learndirect Certificate of Completion of Training in Caring for People with Learning Disabilities.

Your course certificate will also state the number of CPD points/hours the course is eligible for.
