Office Management Executive

Although office management may often be largely about day to day executive control and supervision and providing guidance and leadership to subordinate team members, it is also about the provision of comprehensive support to senior management.

The practical role of the Office Manager requires much more than sound day-to-day operational and administrative skills. The broad scope of the role is such that the Office Manager should also have strong personal attributes, a firm grasp of business systems and procedures and excellent people management skills.

The position of the Office Manager is a good example to demonstrate that ‘adding value’ to the organisation that you work for is not only about competence in individual job role, but is also about understanding the key business issues within the broader context of the whole organisation.
